The iconic photo of LeBron James on the cover of Sports Illustrated with the bold title “The Chosen One” marked a historic moment in 2002. Over 22 years later, the high school jersey that James wore in that photo shoot, and also wore in a game that same night and throughout much of his junior season, will be up for auction next month at a Julien’s Auctions event in Hong Kong. The jersey is expected to sell for between 1 and 2 million dollars, setting a record for a high school jersey worn in a game.
