Coco Gauff Turns Heads with Jaw-Dropping Style at WTA Finals—Mom Candi Couldn’t Be Prouder

At 20, Coco Gauff has created a wave in the tennis world. She appeared on the big stage at the very young age of 15 when she defeated Venus Williams at the Wimbledon Championships. It was no surprise that she got compared to her idol, Serena Williams. However, it looks like Gauff is channeling her inner Williams not just on the tennis court but also off the court, which has left her mother in awe of her.

The American sensation will be playing in the WTA Finals, which begins on November 3. Ahead of the tournament, the players dressed up for a pre-tournament shoot. What was interesting to see was that Gauff stood out from the rest with her impressive outfit. Further, it also left her mother, Candi, impressed as she took to Instagram to share her reaction to Gauff’s glorious outfit. Sharing a glimpse of Gauff on her Instagram story, Candi wrote, “@cocogauff stunning!!”

Gauff put on a lavender-colored one-piece outfit. Sleeveless on one side, the 20-year-old put on matching sleeves on the other side, as she confidently put on the bold look. While Gauff has put on a style statement off the court, she is also considered one of the best-dressed players on the court.

Moreover, she adjusts to the fashion vibe considering which city she is playing in. Earlier this season, she revealed how she will dress differently in Paris and New York, saying, “I do feel more comfortable being out in New York because Paris has a very professional, chic vibe. I feel like they focus a lot on layering when it comes to their fashion and really strong, quality clothes. Maybe not too much color, but just using layering a lot. … When I pack for Europe, I pack differently. I like to pack more staple pieces with high-quality materials.”

Because of her on and off-the-court achievements, Gauff is often compared to Serena Williams. During an interview earlier this week, she recalled her first meeting with her idol.
