Chelsea fans don’t like Mason Mount’s goodbye film…
The response of Chelsea fan Rory Jennings to Mason Mount’s goodbye video has gone viral on social media as the midfielder gets ready to move to Manchester United for £60 million.
Mount, who is 24 years old, confirmed that he was leaving Chelsea in a video he shared on Instagram on Tuesday night.
Mount said on the video, “I think you deserve more than a written statement, so I wanted to tell you directly how thankful I am for all of your help over the last 18 years.”
“I know some of you won’t like my choice, but it’s what I think is best for my career right now.”

Mount thanked Chelsea’s academy, his teammates, the people who work behind the scenes, and Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel, and Graham Potter, the three coaches he’s had since making his first-team debut for the Blues in 2019.
Mount’s film has, of course, gotten a lot of attention. Many of the comments from angry Chelsea fans on Mount’s Instagram video are not very nice.
After watching Mount’s goodbye video, Chelsea fan Jennings didn’t hold back when he called it “self-indulgent” on talkSPORT.
About Mason Mount, what has Rory Jennings said?
Jennings said on talkSPORT: “I mean, it’s a little bit selfish, isn’t it? Also, talk about all the things he liked about Chelsea, like how long he had been there and how many awards he had won as a young player.
“The fact that he got along so well with the people and had so many happy memories with the managers he named. Okay, man. If it’s that important to you, don’t leave.
“Like, if you really care, I’m not too interested in your words or the fact that you want to film yourself and your new haircut telling us how much you care about the club. You just joined United, so get over it and own it.
“You’re now a United player, so be a United player, own the fact that you’re a United player, and be honest and say you don’t really care about Chelsea, because that’s what this is, isn’t it?
“Like coming out and saying, ‘You know, I love you guys, but I’m not going to play for you anymore. I want to go to United. I love you guys, but I’m not going to play for you anymore. I want to go play in front of the Stretford End. I love you guys, but I want to go play in the Champions League for them.
“Don’t act like you’re a Chelsea man. Don’t act like you’re a Chelsea hero who loves Chelsea, bleeds Chelsea, and wants to play at Stamford Bridge. Because if you wanted to play at Stamford Bridge, you’d be playing there.
“We don’t need this video. He might need to make it because he wants his exit to go as smoothly as possible, but this is only for Mason Mount.”
