An ex-wife of Manchester United player Antony is apparently planning to file new domestic charges against him in England.
Gabriela Cavallin, a former significant other of the footballer and now a popular DJ and influencer, is reportedly planning to file a police report against him in England, where he currently resides, according to a story from the Brazilian daily UOL.
A report on identical charges against Antony was submitted by Cavallin in Brazil in June. It is claimed that Cavallin experienced hostility and threats while residing in Manchester.’
According to UOL, they have seen a 70-page dossier including evidence of Antony’s alleged abusive behavior and aggressiveness toward the DJ.
According to the Brazilian news outlet, Cavallin’s attorney Vanessa Souza said the Manchester United player might be charged with three separate offenses in the United Kingdom.
‘I was approached through Gabriela’s lawyers in Brazil to protect her interests with the Crown Prosecutor Service (England prosecutors) and the Manchester Police,’ she continued.I approached Antony’s team’s legal department out of the blue, and they were taken aback. These British institutions take their responsibilities seriously and are regarded with great respect.
Cavallin says the footballer’s alleged behavior has caused her to continue having difficulties sleeping.
In Brazil, the inquiry into Antony continues.
In an interview aired on Record TV, she made additional charges, alleging that she had trouble breathing when “he held me by both arms, threw me on the bed, and fell on top of me.”
According to Cavallin, the incident required her to get sutures on the underside of her breаst. Cavallin also claimed that Antony forbade her to leave the house.
The athlete issued a post on Instagram stating he was ‘falsely accused’ and had been’suffering in silence’ as investigations continued.
I wаnted to speak publicly for the first time since I was wrongly accused of аssаult, and I did so after filing my statement at the police station where the inquiry concerning my nаme is being undertaken,’ he wrote.
My family and I have suffered in silence for the past few days, but I remained silent until now so that nothing would compromise the inquiry.
As soon as the investigation is finished, the trutҺ will come out and my innocence will be established. My reputation will have recovered from the initial blоw.
“We appreciate the outpouring of love and kindness during this trying time.”
United, who paid Ajax in the Netherlands £87 million to acquire Antony last year, has not commented on the claims, but is now known to be looking into them.
Cavallin informed journalist Roberto Cabrini of Brazil’s Record TV that the alleged аssаult began in Brazil a year ago.
In his own words, Cavallin described how the attacker “threw water on me, started kicking me, grabbed me by the hair, butted my head, and made a cut.”
He grabbed both of my arms, flung me onto the bed, and then jumped on top of me.
Antony had rendered Cavallin a prisoner in their own home, according to Cavallin’s accusations.
He smashed my baggage, stole my wallet and passport. Cavallin stated, “He smashed my phone and wouldn’t let me go. From 10 p.m. until nearly 3:30 a.m., I was locked up. Personally, I refer to it as solitary confinement. I desperately needed to escape, but he said I couldn’t go anywhere until I deleted everything.
His mom probably called his physio and asked for advice. There was simply no stopping it.
