Manchester United star changes agents as he seeks move away from Old Trafford with Premier League and Saudi clubs interested
Fred, a midfielder for Manchester United, is apparently looking to leave Old Trafford this summer and has chosen new agents.
The Brazilian athlete has joined Energy Sports, the same agency that represents Gabriel Jesus, another member of his country’s national team, according to transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano.
Several Saudi Pro League teams are showing interest in Fred, who has been linked with a move to Fulham.
And if he rҽmains on for another season, the 30-year-old is expected to see his minutes decrease even further due to the recent acquisition of Mason Mount to the park’s center. United has no plans to extend Fred’s contract, which is in its final year.
The most likely candidate to sign him is Fulham, but they must first match United’s £20 million asking price. Marco Silva, the manager of the Cottagers, is thought to be a big fan of Fred and wants to sign him for the upcoming season.
Although it is anticipated that an official bid will be made in the coming days, none has yet been made.
